Schedule
Generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Business necessities dictate work schedules and occasional nights, weekends and travel is required.
About the Role
The Associate is a ‘roll up your sleeves’ and active and engaged member of a matrix managed growing team. Their primary role as an Associate Project Manager is to assist in the management and administration of a variety of project tasks and deliverables associated with the All of Us Research Program, and multiple client teams and other projects as assigned. The Associate reports to a Senior Associate.
Responsibilities
Assist team members in the planning and implementation of key projects, including compiling reports and collaborating with workstream leads
Support and facilitate meetings by developing needed materials, arranging discussions and facilitating productive conversations
Prepare project dashboards and summaries
Coordinate and track action items and report progress to project owners
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation using designated applications and tools
Assist the team in developing and implementing ongoing internal process improvements and contribute to project governance as needed
Communicate clearly with peers internally across a matrixed organization as well as with external audiences
Identify and bring forward ideas to creatively solve problems and improve or develop new processes
Participate actively in Pyxis activities and teams, demonstrating a willingness to contribute where needed, and interact effectively with others and build productive and positive relationships
Support and facilitate collaboration needed to achieve individual and client team tasks and projects; model commitment to working with others
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s a plus) and at least 1 year of professional experience in project management
Strong preference for candidates that have worked with healthcare, government or non-profit organizations
Proficiency with Google Suite, Asana, and Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Perform assigned work productively to deliver high quality client and organizational results on time
Developing strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines and deliverables
