Emily Haynes, MPAP

Emily just completed her Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University after having spent a decade in mostly healthcare-centered marketing and communications roles. Most recently spending five years working for a precision oncology support firm. She is drawn to Pyxis Partners due to its deep bench of work and knowledge in community-led health engagement and empowerment. She hopes to use this to inform her approach in her public health policy work as she prepares to pursue her Master of Public Health degree at Tufts University this Fall. When not working or studying, she is the mother to a rambunctious preschooler and loves hiking with her family, cooking dishes from a wide array of cultures, and dancing with a local group.
