Gina Beller, BS

Associate

Gina Beller joined Pyxis Partners as a recent graduate of Virginia Tech, where she earned a BS in Sociology and double minors in Political Science and Diversity Community Engagement.


Gina held three internships during her time at Virginia Tech. She was a Congressional Intern in the office of Senator Chris Coons of Delaware where she was responsible for constituent engagement and research. Additionally, she was selected to intern at Legacy Community Health in Houston, Texas where she supported the VP of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Here, she was inspired by their mission of affordable and equitable health care. Her most recent internship was at the Virginia Tech Women’s Center where she worked to develop and bring awareness to violence prevention initiatives on the campus and within the community.


She has held various leadership positions throughout her four years at Virginia Tech where she learned valuable lessons in engaging communities, promoting DEI efforts, and impacting lasting and significant change. Gina was also a D1 athlete and was proud to represent Virginia Tech at multiple sporting events and competitions.


As an Engagement Counselor at Pyxis Partners, Gina supports the Community Engagement team and clients in uplifting the voices of communities underrepresented in biomedical research and providing opportunities to increase awareness, education, and participation in important community-based health programs.


Gina lives in Washington DC and loves reading, traveling, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her new city and all that DC has to offer. And most of all, Go Hokies!
