Loriane is a dedicated, ambitious, results-based, community-centered cultural broker grounded in grace, empathy, and radical kindness. With over 10 years of experience designing, launching, and managing innovative initiatives and programs to bridge gaps and build community capacity to ensure all people thrive.
Loriane is passionate about designing engaging spaces, experiences, and strategies rooted in meeting individuals, communities, and institutions where they are, while supporting them in building pathways for where they desire to be. Being a people-centered relationship builder and data driven decision maker has allowed Loriane to design, implement, and oversee various strategies that expanded engagement, built trust and increased buy in.
Loriane comes to Pyxis Partners from Independent Sector, where she was the Community Engagement Manager. Loriane was able to create, manage and lead various programs grounded in providing capacity, building support, networking and relationship-building opportunities, and space to amplify work and impact. In this role she led various leadership development cohorts including the inaugural Bridging Fellows program.
Prior to Independent Sector, Loriane was in Rochester, NY where she led the community engagement efforts for the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative at the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Loriane lives in Silver Spring, Maryland where she enjoys exploring new and delicious food, attending concerts, and finding new walking trails. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from St. John Fisher University and a Masters in Public Administration from SUNY Brockport.
