Olivia Mitchell

Olivia is a recent 2025 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, where she earned her BA with honors in Mass Communications, with a concentration in Digital Media. She plans to attend the University of Maryland Global Campus to pursue her MS in Strategic Communications. Before joining Pyxis, Olivia worked full time for a home healthcare agency and currently also works part-time for a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization focused on supporting adolescents in workforce development through training, mentoring, and community outreach.

Combining the passions she developed in these roles, Olivia was inspired by and drawn to Pyxis’s mission to help serve and advocate for underrepresented communities facing healthcare disparities. Outside of work, she enjoys attending concerts, spending time with friends and family, drinking matcha, and traveling. So far this year, she has visited Chicago and Arizona. Over the summer, she traveled to Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Cozumel via cruise. Olivia is ecstatic to join the Pyxis team and learn firsthand from seasoned professionals.
