PRESS RELEASE: Pyxis Partners Announces Departure of Director Jason Wallace from the firm

WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 16, 2022) - Pyxis Partners, a mission-driven firm committed to improving the health of others through policy, advocacy, and community engagement, announced today the departure of Jason R.L Wallace. Wallace will be leaving to focus on his next venture: D.C.-based consulting firm Blue Goose Solutions.

Blue Goose Solutions is a consulting agency specializing in social impact with expertise in community and digital engagement with a focus on underserved populations. The agency supports its clients in strategic partnerships, vision planning, and equity-based programming.

Wallace joined Pyxis Partners in August 2021 as a Director of Stakeholder Engagement. Previously, he served on Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Cabinet as the Executive Director of the Mayor’s Office on Fathers, Men and Boys and as the Director of My Brother’s Keepers DC. Wallace has spent most of his career in the non-profit and government sectors, having served as the Director of Volunteer Engagement and Community Supports at Martha’s Table and working at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Executive Office of the President.

“When it comes to work culture, Pyxis Partners gets it right,” said Wallace. “The leadership team has a clear vision for the company and its impact for the future, which is evident in the way they operate. From the top-down, there is a focus on employee development and growth. I've truly valued my time at Pyxis Partners and appreciate their continued support in this new venture.”

During his time at Pyxis, Wallace supported the firm’s work with the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program, a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health.

“Jason has a real talent for building relationships and is a passionate advocate for increasing opportunities for historically underrepresented communities that will lead to improved health outcomes,” said Ronnie Tepp, Principal at Pyxis Partners and Principal Investigator for the All of Us Research Program. “He has played an integral role on our team supporting the NIH's All of Us Research Program and has led large convenings for the program as well as engagement work around the country.”

“Jason Wallace is the kind of employee any firm would be lucky to have. He's engaged, passionate, and a very caring person. We wish him great success with his new venture,” said Michael Manganiello, President and CEO of Pyxis Partners.
